Welcome to the WIMARQ Networking Group
Women in Mining and Resources Queensland (WIMARQ) is a voluntary, not-for-profit group that organises talks and networking events primarily aimed at bringing together women in many and varied job roles from all areas of the primary resources industry.

WIMARQ seeks to include people from the mining, exploration, metals processing, oil and gas industries. All are invited including lab technicians, administrative staff, geologists, metallurgists, engineers, operators, government staff, lawyers and human resources staff, amongst others. Women and men from all parts of the mining and resources industry are warmly welcomed to attend for the opportunity to meet others and expand their networks within the industries.

We hope you are able to come and join us at our next function.

Our events attract from 50 to 120 people and we have been fortunate to engage some inspiring speakers and great sponsors and supporters.

We aim to schedule events on different weekdays and at different times so as to allow people with varying family and work commitments to attend when they can.

We are also keen to help support regional and remote networking events - please contact us if you are interested.
